Our chapter has a unique B2B (Business-to-Business) focus, providing networking opportunities for some of the top businesses in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton.

Our members form a supportive network of trusted industry experts that translates into a close-knit group who focuses every week on helping each other grow their business and become more profitable.

At BNI B2B Strategic Partners, we support our members’ business growth by building relationships and expanding our B2B network through word-of-mouth marketing and referrals.

We are a chapter of BNI Golden Horseshoe a division of BNI Canada.

What is BNI?

BNI is a business and professional networking organization that allows only one person per profession to join a chapter. Founded in 1985 by Ivan R. Misner, BNI has grown to over 2000 chapters worldwide. Based on “Givers Gain” philosophy: by giving business to others, you will get business in return, BNI offers members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, referrals.

Business Network International (BNI) is the foremost business referral network in the world. It exists to bring business people together in a structured format, which encourages the exchange of business.

We currently have over 20+ industry experts specializing in a wide variety of B2B fields. Only one person is allowed to join per profession. Once you are accepted as a member, your competition is locked out.

Who is a good fit for membership?

  • Business-to-Business focused company (80-100% of accounts are B2B)
  • Clients with revenues greater than 5M
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience or in a related field
  • 2 Years with current company
  • Strong business referen­ces from: Clients, referral partners, and/or suppliers
  • A minimum of 1 additional network
    (Association, Chamber, Board of Trade, Community/Club)
  • The ability to both give referrals to members and receive referrals from members

When you apply to join BNI B2B Strategic Partners, the chapter’s membership committee will review your application to determine a good fit. Upon approval, the committee will make a recommendation to accept you as a new member.

What You Should Know

  • Only one person is allowed to join per profession. Once you are accepted as a member, your competition is locked out.
  • Each member must represent only one category.
  • Attendance each week is a required part of participation and membership. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute. This will not count as an absence.
  • You will be required to bring real referrals, testimonials and/or visitors to every meeting.
  • Meetings are held at Credit Valley Golf & Country Club, Mississauga, from 12 noon – 1:30 pm every Tuesday. Lunch is included with payment of the monthly meeting dues. (Due to privacy rules, we are not allowed to publish dues, please contact us directly for the details at no obligation.)

Upon acceptance to the BNI B2B Strategic Partners, each member agrees to abide by the following Code of Ethics during their participation in the group:

  • I will provide the quality of services at the prices that I have quoted.
  • I will be truthful with the members and their referrals.
  • I will build goodwill and trust among members and their referrals.
  • I will take responsibility for following up on the referrals I receive.
  • I will live up to the ethical standards of my profession.
  • I will display a positive and supportive attitude with members of my chapter.

Basic Info

Our Meeting Agenda

Every business owner knows how important word-of-mouth marketing is. Yet, very few understand how to build their business through word-of-mouth.

Using BNI’s proven principles, our chapter encourages word-of-mouth marketing, providing an environment in which you develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business owners.

During our B2B networking meetings, we include:

  • 15 minutes social networking
  • 45 second infomercials by each member
  • Visitor Introduction
  • Membership Committee and Vice-President Reports
  • 10 minute presentation by one member
  • Referrals, testimonials and visitor impressions exchange
